Giancarlo is usually a nonchalant fellow without a care in the world; aside from perhaps losing a bet or jumping a bathroom window to evade a hefty restauraunt check and getting stuck in the process. He can laugh at just about anything.
But such demeanors can so easilly overshadow one's past experiences, and how they wish it would all just go away.

Something small I did in painter for about an hour. Kinda just came to be as I painted it - I let my characters tell their own stories and I have fun with them :)

I really, really like the way you've done the hair--the highlights and shadows look great. The contrast of the blue and red is a nice touch too. :)

Uhm, is it just me or is his eye really out of place? o_o sorry ... looks like it should be a bit more to the left, and lower on the face, more like into the hair from this angle ....


Beyond that, the colours and painted-effect look awesome.
